NW DOCUMENTARY

Filmmaker Beth Harrington in attendance.

The story of Frank Matsura, a Japanese immigrant who arrived in Okanogan County, Washington in 1903 and spent a decade photographing the people of a frontier town that embraced him. Harrington, a Vancouver-based documentary filmmaker, builds the film around the glass-plate negatives he left behind.
