Website Under Development.

Our website is long over due for a refresh, and it is coming this year!
It will be a slow rolling update and so please bear with us if the site feels underdeveloped, or there are obvious issues. We will be continusouly working to update the performance, look and information on the site. If you are a member of the NW Documentary community with web development or graphic design skills, or an interest in developing those skills reach out and let us know.

The underlaying goal of the new site is to get you out into the world making new projects, watching films, and building off line real world community. This is a lesson we learned in the post COVID world. People were eager to find community in real places and to be out in the real world. It can be easy to get pulled back into online worlds and we are looking for ways to use this site to combat that. We want the site to be frictionless to use, but not because we are worried about losing you attention to another website, we want this experience to be frictionless so that you are ushered back into the rain and sunshine and complex humming world.

There a focus on finding documentaries to see in theaters, and in person workshops, and community spaces, and the support you need to find stories, record interviews, and host screenings. The kind of documentary filmmaking we are celebrating and supporting is based on curiosity and an engagement with people and places.
The site is being constructed live. So if you find yourself on an unfinished page that is why. It's an invitation to experience the site as a work in progress.
We will update this post with a roadmap and updates as the work gets under way in the summer and fall of 2025.
